How to File a Labour Complaint — Step by Step
1️⃣ Keep Your Evidence
Save your duty roster, attendance record, contract, payslip and any messages from your employer.
2️⃣ Contact HR First
Ask your employer/HR in writing about your National Day compensation.
3️⃣ File a Complaint with MHRSD
Go to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) electronic services.
4️⃣ Choose “Amicable Settlement – File a Lawsuit”
Enter your personal, employer and employment details.
5️⃣ Select the Complaint Subject
Explain that you worked on the official holiday and did not receive the applicable compensation.
6️⃣ Upload Supporting Documents
Attach your employment contract and relevant evidence.
7️⃣ Submit the Complaint
Review the information, accept the declaration and submit your claim.
8️⃣ Attend the Session
MHRSD will notify the parties about the settlement session.
9️⃣ If No Settlement Is Reached
The dispute can proceed to the Labour Court according to the applicable procedures.
