Published by the Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST), the report highlights the country’s most popular social media apps, websites, search engines, and artificial intelligence platforms.

The findings reflect Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving digital landscape, with internet penetration reaching 99.6% and AI adoption continuing to grow among individuals and businesses.

Most Used Social Media Apps in Saudi Arabia

According to the report, WhatsApp remains the most widely used social media platform in the Kingdom, followed by Snapchat and TikTok.

  • Snapchat – 83.6%
  • TikTok – 77.0%
  • YouTube – 75.8%
  • Instagram – 40.8%
  • X (formerly Twitter) – 34.9%
  • Telegram – 24.3%
  • Facebook – 18.8%

These figures demonstrate the continued dominance of messaging and short-form video platforms among Saudi internet users.

The report also lists the websites that receive the highest number of visits from users in Saudi Arabia.
