The Saudi Ministry of Education has announced the Academic Calendar for the 2026–2027 school year (1448 AH), outlining the official schedule for students, teachers, and schools across the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Makkah, Madinah, and all other regions.
The new academic year officially begins on 23 August 2026, when students return to classrooms. Teachers will report one week earlier on 16 August 2026 to prepare for the new school year.

- Saudi National Day Holiday: 23 September 2026
- Founding Day Holiday: 22 February 2027
- Eid Al-Fitr Holiday: March/April 2027 (Subject to official moon sighting)
- Eid Al-Adha Holiday: May/June 2027 (Subject to official announcement)
- Last Day of School: 24 June 2027
- Summer Vacation Begins: 25 June 2027
Throughout the academic year, students will also receive several semester breaks and long weekends as scheduled by the Ministry of Education. The exact dates of religious holidays remain subject to official announcements based on the Islamic calendar.
